Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Apptastic AI's services in the GrubMuncher app. If you do not agree, you should not use the App.

1. Account Registration

Users must create an account to access GrubMuncher. We store and protect user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection regulations. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

2. Subscription Model

GrubMuncher operates on a subscription-based model. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees.

3. Acceptable Use & User Conduct

Users must not upload offensive content or engage in misuse, reverse engineering, or unauthorized access to our services.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GRUBMUNCHER, ITS PARENT COMPANY APPTASTIC AI, ITS AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, OR LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
• ANY HEALTH ISSUES, PERSONAL INJURY, DIETARY CONSEQUENCES, OR ALLERGIC REACTIONS RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE APP. USERS MUST CONSULT A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL BEFORE MAKING DIETARY DECISIONS.
• ANY INACCURACIES, ERRORS, OR OMISSIONS IN AI-GENERATED NUTRITIONAL ANALYSES OR OTHER CONTENT.
• SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, OUTAGES, OR TECHNICAL FAILURES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USER DATA OR INABILITY TO ACCESS THE APP.
• UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, SECURITY BREACHES, OR DATA LOSS, WHETHER OR NOT CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE.
• ANY USER-GENERATED CONTENT, THIRD-PARTY LINKS, OR EXTERNAL WEBSITES ACCESSED THROUGH THE APP. WE DO NOT ENDORSE OR TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER FOR THE SERVICES IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

5. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold GrubMuncher and its affiliates harmless from any legal claims, damages, or losses arising from their use of the app.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Subscriptions renew automatically and they can opt out of automatic renewals through their account settings. Users may cancel anytime, but refunds are only available within 48 hours of the initial purchase. Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play must be requested through those platforms.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property Protection

Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of GrubMuncher without written permission, except where permitted by fair use provisions or authorized developer API integrations. Any violation will result in account termination and legal action.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by UK law. For international users, local laws may apply where required by jurisdiction, but UK law remains the primary governing authority. Any disputes must be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or an in-app notification before the changes take effect. Continued use of GrubMuncher after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
